Text description of the diagram
  • 01 Human intelligence — The consciousness that assigns meaning. Reason, Creativity, Intuition, Memory, Empathy.
  • 02 Artificial intelligence — A tool to be governed in truth. Analysis, Computation, Modelling, Automation, Amplification.
  • 03 Collective intelligence — The mind that emerges between people. Dialogue, Unity, Knowledge exchange, Coordination, Collaboration.
  • 04 Spiritual intelligence — The conscience that sees direction. Faith, Discernment, Prayer, Conscience, Wisdom.
  • 05 Biological intelligence — Intelligence written into the living world. Flora, Fauna, Ecosystems, Symbiosis, Life.
  • 06 Cosmic intelligence — An order larger than us. Space, Time, Order, Laws, Wonder.
  • 07 Unknown / Emergent intelligence — The constitutional formulation: a form of knowledge or intelligence not yet discovered. It stays open precisely because we do not know its limits.
01

Human intelligence

The consciousness that assigns meaning.

Domain
Mind, body, culture, conscience
Capabilities
ReasonCreativityIntuitionMemoryEmpathy
Limitations
Limited speed, limited recall, prone to cognitive bias.
Contribution to synthesis
Defines purpose, meaning and responsibility for the whole system.
Relationships
Directs the artificial, is nourished by the collective, is tested by the spiritual.
Scripture references
Prov. 2:6 · Ps. 139:14 · Rom. 12:2 · Eph. 4:23
02

Artificial intelligence

A tool to be governed in truth.

Domain
Computation, models, data
Capabilities
AnalysisComputationModellingAutomationAmplification
Limitations
No conscience, no embodied experience, no moral agency.
Contribution to synthesis
Extends the memory, speed and scale of human thought.
Relationships
Subordinate to the human, accountable to ethical boundaries.
Scripture references
Prov. 18:15 · Gen. 1:28 · 1 Thess. 5:21 · 1 Cor. 14:40
03

Collective intelligence

The mind that emerges between people.

Domain
Communities, institutions, dialogue
Capabilities
DialogueUnityKnowledge exchangeCoordinationCollaboration
Limitations
Prone to conformity, polarisation and inertia.
Contribution to synthesis
Tests truth through dialogue and scales action.
Relationships
Bridges the human and the artificial, restrains both.
Scripture references
Prov. 15:22 · Eccl. 4:9–12 · 1 Cor. 12:12–27 · Acts 2:42
04

Spiritual intelligence

The conscience that sees direction.

Domain
Faith, conscience, prayer, virtue
Capabilities
FaithDiscernmentPrayerConscienceWisdom
Limitations
Requires honesty and humility; distorted by fanaticism.
Contribution to synthesis
Provides the higher moral compass and meaning.
Relationships
Orients every other form of knowing.
Scripture references
Prov. 9:10 · Isa. 11:2 · 1 Cor. 2:14 · Gal. 5:22–23
05

Biological intelligence

Intelligence written into the living world.

Domain
Flora, fauna, ecosystems
Capabilities
FloraFaunaEcosystemsSymbiosisLife
Limitations
Slow on human decision timescales; fragile under damage.
Contribution to synthesis
Reminds us intelligence exists inside life, not above it.
Relationships
Sets limits for technological expansion.
Scripture references
Gen. 2:15 · Job 12:7–10 · Matt. 6:26–29 · Rom. 1:20
06

Cosmic intelligence

An order larger than us.

Domain
Space, time, natural law
Capabilities
SpaceTimeOrderLawsWonder
Limitations
Largely beyond direct human intervention.
Contribution to synthesis
Gives scale, humility and proportion.
Relationships
Frames all other intelligences within one order.
Scripture references
Ps. 19:1 · Gen. 1:14 · Col. 1:16–17 · Heb. 1:3

07

Intelligence alone is not enough.

Unknown / Emergent intelligence

UNKNOWNEMERGENTWISDOM

The constitutional formulation: a form of knowledge or intelligence not yet discovered. It stays open precisely because we do not know its limits.
